In announcing the decision, the IDF President recognized India’s growing role within the global dairy sector. He reflected on the success of the 2022 IDF World Dairy Summit held in India and the First IDF Regional Conference hosted by India in Kochi in June 2024. Both events, organized and conceptualized by India, were celebrated for their significant impact on regional and global dairy discussions.
The successful bid underscores India’s prominence in the international dairy industry, as well as the country’s commitment to advancing sustainable dairy practices. With India as the host for the 2027 World Dairy Summit, the IDF continues to build on India’s contributions and experiences to drive progress in the global dairy community.
