डेयरी फार्मिंग और पशुपालन के क्षेत्र में अपार संभावनाएं, लेकिन सफलता प्राप्त करने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत और कुछ इनोवेशन बेहद जरूरी है। ‘डेयरी के सुल्तान’ में हमारी कोशिश ऐसे ही जुनूनी और इनोवेटिव डेयरी किसानों (Innovative Dairy Farmers) से आपको मिलाने की होती है, जो इस क्षेत्र में सफलता का परचम लहरा रहे हैं। इसी कड़ी में आज आपके सामने लेकर आए हैं राजस्थान के प्रोग्रेसिव और इनवोविट डेयरी किसान दयाराम मेघवाल (Dayaram Meghwal) की सक्सेस स्टोरी (Success Story)।
राजस्थान के नागौर जिले के अमरपुरा गांव में रहने वाले 35 वर्षीय प्रगतिशील डेयरी किसान (Progressive Dairy Farmer) दयाराम मेघवाल के घर में खेती-बाड़ी पुश्तैनी व्यवसाय है। दयाराम भी 12वीं तक पढ़ाई के बाद अपने खेतों में काम करने लगे और परिवार का हाथ बंटाने लगे। लेकिन राजस्थान जैसी जगह में खेती करना कोई आसान काम नहीं है। भीषण गर्मी और पानी की कमी से खेती से गुजर-बसर करना आसान नहीं है। ऐसे में करीब आठ साल पहले दयाराम के मन में व्यावसायिक डेयरी फार्मिंग (Professional Dairy Farming) करने का विचार आया।
डेयरी किसान दयाराम मेघवाल ने डेयरी टुडे (Dairy Today) से बातचीत के दौरान बताया कि खेती-किसानी की तुलना में पशुपालन का काम काफी आरामदायक है। एक तो डेयरी फार्मिंग (Dairy Farming) में सुबह और शाम के वक्त ही काम करना पड़ता है और इसमें धूप में काम करने की मजबूरी भी नहीं है, यानि छाया में काम कर सकते हैं। इसके अलावा खेती में फसल कैसी होगी इसका कुछ पता नहीं होता है, लेकिन डेयरी फार्मिंग में दूध बेच कर एक निश्चित आय हो सकती है। बस इन बातों को ध्यान में रखते हुए आठ साल पहले दयाराम मेघवाल ने डेयरी फार्मिंग का काम शुरू कर दिया।
बचपन से ही पशुपालन का शौक रखने वाले प्रोग्रेशिव डेयरी किसान दयाराम ने 2012 में बाबा रामदेव डेयरी फार्म (Baba Ramdev Dairy Farm) की शुरुआत मुर्रा नस्ल (Murra Breed) की दो भैंस के साथ की। इसके बाद वे धीरे-धीरे पशुओं की संख्या बढ़ाते गए। उन्होंने एनडीआरआई, करनाल (NDRI) से डेयरी फार्मिंग का प्रशिक्षण भी लिया है। आज उनके डेयरी फार्म में तीस पशु है, जिनमें 25 मुर्रा नस्ल की भैंस हैं और पांच गाय हैं। दयाराम ने बताया कि शुरुआत में उन्होंने सारा दूध सरस डेयरी को बेचा, लेकिन बाद में उन्होंने दूध मार्केट में और ढाबों-होटलों में बेचना शुरू कर दिया। इससे उनकी इनकम बढ़ गई। फिलहाल उके डेयरी फार्म पर 110 लीटर से ज्यादा दूध (Milk) होता है और 48 रुपये प्रति लीटर के रेट पर बिकता है। आर्डर मिलने पर दही और घी भी बनाकर बेचते हैं।
दयाराम मेघवाल ने बताया कि उन्होंने डेयरी फार्मिंग को सिर्फ दुग्ध उत्पादन (Milk Production) तक ही सीमित नहीं रखा, बल्कि उन्होंने गाय-भैंस की खरीद- बिक्री का भी काम शुरू कर दिया। आज आस-पास के इलाके में उनका इस बिजनेस में भी काफी नाम हो गया है। दयाराम ज्यादातर पंजाब और हरियाणा में ही पशुओं की खरीद-बिक्री (Animal Sale Purchase) करते हैं। दयाराम के मुताबिक वे महीने में आठ से दस पशुओं की खरीद-बिक्री भी कर लेते हैं और इससे उन्हें अच्छी-खासी इनकम हो जाती है।
दयाराम के मुताबिक खेतीबाड़ी के साथ डेयरी फार्मिंग और पशुओं की सेल-परचेज से उन्हें काफी फायदा हो जाता है। हालांकि अभी कोरोना महामारी की वजह से इस काम में थोड़ी कमी आई है। दयाराम अपनी पत्नी का साथ मिलकर पशुओं की देखभाल करते हैं और मिल्किंग भी करते हैं। दयाराम का कहना है कि हमारी भैंसे हमारा ब्लैक गोल्ड हैं। दयाराम के डेयरी फार्म पर दो-ढाई लाख रुपये से पांच लाख रुपये तक की मुर्रा नस्ल की भैंस हैं। दयाराम को कई पशुमेलों में अपनी तंदरुस्त भैंसों के लिए पुरस्कार भी मिल चुका है।
डेयरी फार्मिंग के कार्य में काफी अनुभवी हो चुके दयाराम के मुताबिक आगे चलकर वे पशुओं की संख्या बढ़ाकर दुग्ध उत्पादन को बढ़ाना चाहते हैं। उनका कहा है कि ग्रामीण इलाकों में खेती के साथ पेशेवर डेयरी फार्मिंग करने से काफी फायदा होता है। जाहिर है कि प्रगतिशील डेयरी किसान दयाराम मेघवाल का ये मंत्र इस व्यवसाय में लगे लोगों को काफी फायदा पहुंचा सकता है।
